Hi, I'm Marlene

 

I'm a specialist wellness counsellor registered with the ASCHP, passionate about holistic wellbeing and the belief that every person holds the wisdom to guide their own life. My approach to counselling is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and the understanding that what works for you is unique to you.

 

I hold an Honours degree in Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology.

Outside of my work, I'm a book lover, a not-so-skilled but enthusiastic painter, and a proud bunny mom to Zara, who is my heart on four paws. I find joy in small acts of kindness and dream of building a warm, inclusive wellness community that helps ease the loneliness so many of us feel today.

Each session lasts approximately one hour, giving you the time and support you need to reflect, process, and move forward. We’re here to listen, support, and guide you toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Through guided journaling, intuitive movement, and holistic practices, we empower you to explore what wellness truly means for you. Whether you're just beginning or deepening your journey, our resources and workshops are designed to meet you where you are. No pressure, no perfection. Just real growth, at your own pace.

Psychoeducation

Our group psychoeducation sessions offer a supportive space to learn about mental health, emotional wellbeing, and practical coping strategies. Through engaging, evidence-based discussions, we explore topics like stress, anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and resilience. These sessions are designed to deepen understanding, foster connection, and equip participants with tools for everyday life. Perfect for teams, schools, or community groups seeking to grow together.
